Find out what makes Australian wildlife like no other on earth at a grass-roots sanctuary. After breakfast, you’ll be collected from your Central Coast accommodation for a private, ranger-led discovery of Australia’s iconic creatures. Set across 80-acres of Heritage-listed Aboriginal bushland, this is a working wildlife sanctuary where you can learn how to massage a koala, and wander freely amongst the kangaroos and emus.
Afterwards, pause for an Aussie morning tea at a magnificent lookout high above the ancient Hawkesbury River. At your next stop, a short but rewarding wander along a wide bush trail leads you to a clifftop lookout with panoramic views over Broken Bay, Lion Island and out to the Pacific.
Your day ends at a waterfront restaurant, with a relaxed two-course lunch before being returned to your accommodation.
(Note: koala holding is not permitted in NSW )
