Please ensure you understand the terms of cancellation before making a booking. We are a small business and so are the suppliers we work with. Due to the bespoke nature of many of our tours, a lot of preparation goes into the arrangements ahead of the actual date.
Cancellations that:

Covid Cancellation Policy
Where a customer cancels due to Government restrictions that are either not removed as expected, extended, or reimposed, the customer will be contacted and offered a refund or credit note (to be used at a later time), where such an offer is at the absolute discretion of the operator. The operator reserves the right to withhold some monies to cover administrative expenses and other losses, dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the customer.
As the Swedish saying goes, “there’s no bad weather, just bad clothing”. Most of our walking tours will run even if it’s raining. Tours will only be cancelled when a weather warning is issued by the Bureau of Meteorology or when it may put the safety of our guides or guests at risk. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
Sailing trips
We know it’s not nice getting sea sick so tours with a sailing component may be cancelled by the skipper if the weather is not looking favourable for a pleasant journey. We will be in touch the day before to let you know.
Walking Shoes
The majority of our bushwalks are in national parks and as such, the paths are uneven with rocks, roots, and sometimes mud. Please wear suitable shoes. Runners are fine if you are comfortable on uneven ground with them, otherwise good walking shoes with ankle support are recommended.
Long Pants or Shorts?
It’s up to you and perhaps the weather. On some paths in the national parks there are bushes and shrubs that will lightly touch your legs but generally it’s fine to wear shorts on a hot day.
Please bring your daypack with the following:
