Trek along the spectacular Bouddi Coastal Walk, traversing dramatic sandstone cliffs and pristine beaches from MacMasters to Putty Beach. The path winds through coastal heath, woodlands of towering eucalypts and ancient angophoras, and across the stunning Maitland Bay.
The walk is taken at a slow pace, allowing you time to soak in the scenery as each season reveals new wonders along this spectacular coastline. Summer brings azure waters against ochre sandstone cliffs, with eastern water dragons basking in the heat. Autumn cools the path as banksia cones mature and honeyeaters feast. Winter offers dramatic ocean panoramas with the possibility of spotting northbound humpback whales (May-July) against moody skies. Spring explodes with color as flannel flowers, waratahs, and boronias blanket the headlands (August-November), while migrating whales journey south with calves.
