Sundowner Stroll Nature Tour

A gentle guided walk with canapés and refreshments as the sun starts to set.

This relaxing nature tour is a hosted bushwalk along a pretty trail to a spectacular look out. Depending on the time of year you may see wildlife such as echidnas and blue-tongue lizards along the track, and whales and dolphins in the distance. This is the perfect way to end the day with some light exercise in a beautiful environment before heading out to dinner.

Initially you’ll descend some rocky stairs before veering off on a trail that winds through giant boulders and twisted angophora – the iconic ‘Sydney Red Gum’ of Bouddi National Park. When the sun begins to set, the angophoras’ smooth red bark takes on a stunning shade and together with the shapes of their gnarly branches these trees are truly impressive.

As you walk you’ll get ocean glimpses and when in season you will be surrounded by the vibrant yellow flowers of the Graceful Bush Pea or the tall stems of the Grass Trees. Your host will interpret the natural surrounds and talk about some of the local history.

After about 20 minutes you will pop out atop a bluff overlooking the ocean with views as far as Sydney on a good day. Here we will snack on some canapés and refreshing drinks before returning.

Note – this walk is graded as moderate due to the uneven ground but should be suitable for most fitness levels when taken slowly. Total elevation 95m – not all at once.  Approximately 3.5kms return.
