The Bouddi Coastal Walk is perhaps the most well know walk in Bouddi National Park. With coastal views all the way back to Sydney, it rates up there as one of the most scenic walks in Australia.
Starting at Mt Bouddi picnic area (Dingeldei), this self-guided experience takes you through Bouddi National Park down a shaded path with some short steep sections to beautiful Maitland Bay, along the beach and then along the path that hugs the coast. Your end point is the eastern corner of Putty Beach where we will have everything ready and waiting for you. You can chill out in the shade of a beach cabana, graze on a gourmet picnic and swim in the lagoon-like calm waters.
All up the walk is about 4.5kms and will probably take you around 1h30 to 2 hours at a leisurely pace, depending on if wish to stop for a swim at Maitland Bay or Bullimah Beaches along the way. It is rated as a grade 3 (moderate) walk. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
